How does Dynasort decide a product is On Sale?

A product is on sale when any variant's compare-at price is greater than its price. One qualifying variant is enough for the whole product to evaluate as true.

Can I demote sale items instead of boosting them?

Yes. Give the attribute a negative point value to push discounted products down, for example to lead a collection with full-price items.

Can I build a Sale collection automatically?

Yes. A managed collection with the condition 'On Sale is true' adds products as soon as a compare-at price is set above the price and removes them when the markdown ends.
