Quick Start Guide
When you install Dynasort, the app walks you through setup itself. Here is what to expect, and what each step does.
1) Tell us what you want to improve
Section titled “1) Tell us what you want to improve”Right after you pick a plan, Dynasort asks which benefits matter to you: better merchandised collections, in-stock options and swatches, conversion tracking, search results, or upsells. Tap all that apply. Your answers become a personal setup plan; nothing is locked in, and every feature stays available either way.
2) While your store syncs
Section titled “2) While your store syncs”Dynasort syncs your collections, products, and recent orders; the screen shows live progress and a time estimate. While you wait you can read the short Academy lessons (about two minutes each), or click “Email me when complete” and we’ll email you the moment your store is ready.
3) Your setup plan
Section titled “3) Your setup plan”When syncing completes, Dynasort shows your setup plan and drops you on the dashboard, where the Guided Setup card tracks every task with live status: not started, in progress, or done. Each task expands into concrete steps that link to the right screen, and each of those screens explains what to do there.
The first task is usually getting a collection sorting:
- Review your sorting recipes. Recipes define how products get ranked. The defaults work well to start.
- Enable a collection. Open a collection, choose a recipe, switch it on, and save.
- Turn on processing. The master switch on the Settings page; nothing sorts until it’s on.
Depending on your plan, the guide also walks you through search re-ranking, product recommendations, post-purchase offers, and product option sorting. Tasks complete automatically as Dynasort sees each surface go live on your storefront.
You’re done
Section titled “You’re done”Dynasort re-sorts your enabled collections automatically every 10–60 minutes, depending on your plan, and Insights starts filling in after about a day of processing.

Frequently asked questions
How long does Dynasort setup take?
Minutes. After you pick a plan, Dynasort asks what you want to improve, syncs your collections, products and recent orders with a live progress bar, and then shows a Guided Setup card that tracks each task until your first collection is sorting.
What are the three steps to get a collection sorting?
Review the default sorting recipes, open a collection and enable it with a recipe, then switch processing on using the master switch on the Settings page. Nothing sorts until that switch is on.
Why is my collection not sorting after I enabled it?
The most common cause is the processing master switch on the Settings page being off. Also check that the collection has a recipe assigned. Once both are set, the collection is sorted on the next scheduled run, which is within 10 to 60 minutes depending on plan.
Do I have to wait in the app while my store syncs?
No. Click 'Email me when complete' and Dynasort emails you the moment the sync finishes. You can also read the short Academy lessons, about two minutes each, while you wait.
When will Insights show data?
Insights starts filling in after about a day of processing. Dynasort aggregates each day's shopper activity in an overnight run, so full analytics appear after the first night since install.
