What does Product Published Age measure?
The number of days since the product was last published in Shopify. If a product was published, unpublished and published again, the latest publish date is used.
When is Product Published Age better than Product Created Age?
When you relaunch products. A product created two years ago but republished last week counts as one week old here, so it can join a New Arrivals sort, while Product Created Age would still treat it as two years old.
Does republishing a product boost it?
Only if a recipe weights this attribute. Newer is better: products at or below Min days since publish earn full points and those at or above Max earn none, so a republished product re-enters the boost window. Dynasort picks up the new publish date on the next sync.
